> 914World Classifieds Rules

We've established the following rules to help make your sales/purchases as successful as possible!
- Please List WTB:, FS:, TRADE: etc (want to buy, for sale, and trade respectively) before your add title.
- You *must* put a price in your ad and state how you would like payment!
- If you'd like to bump your ads, feel free to do so every two days.
- DO NOT MAKE YOUR ADS IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS! It's considered rude.
- All eBay ads belong in the eBay category.
- Please consolidate your ads into one big lump... listings and pictures together in one thread. Please be considerate of other classified users!!
- Mark your items "SOLD" once you sell them. Please do not ask to have ads removed. Ads will automatically hide themselves after 30 days. We also ask that you leave your pricing in the ads to help others determine fair market value for future sales.

I guess if you sign up for enough newbie accounts, you might snag another unsuspecting newbie in the process. Be aware this seller keeps changing his identity on this forum.

These are his latest offerings:

I saw the gauges and my first thought was of him. Don't know why some people don't learn what the "World" is really about.

Also goes my greenrubbermat on the Early S Registry. He is making a laughing stock of himself there asking $400 for a damaged 915 R & P. He is a commercial seller and should be banned. Only out to price gouge members.

I inquired about a VW part from him (carswcharacter). The guy came off real nasty. He has a chip on his shoulder and is very rude. On theSamba most people are decent, but you are still on your own. Like someone mentioned in a prior thread, at least with Ebay you have some recourse, even if limited. A dispute can always be filed with Ebay and Paypal. Feedback can also be left and they do shut down sellers' accounts that cause too much trouble. However, Sebring66/flat6parts does not seem to be restricted on this site. He just creates a new profile and comes back. And no, last time I checked, he doesn't take Paypal. So once he gets your money, good luck getting what he promised. Apparently, not everything he sells is as promised. It is at a buyer's discretion what he feels something is worth, irrespective of the venue on which it is being sold. But, what is advertised by a seller is what should be delivered to a buyer. This is where he has a history of not coming through. Then when the buyer asks for a resolution, well then, unfortunately they are just out of luck. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif)

IDK,

when I see parts on this board for sale by a "newbie" - well it sort of raises a HUGE red flag ...

I'm may not be a "active" member Jenny, but I know what active is!
