That looks more like a 993 than a 996 - an improvement in my opinion.

I've seen that picture before- its one of those spy photos. I agree, getting back to the 993 style headlights is a big improvement. A 350HP 3.8 motor is a huge improvement.

I better start saving again.... maybe in 2010 I can afford one.

I agree re: the 993. Saw one on the way home tonight* and thought "Yep, that's still the best looking one".

Me, I'd be happy to limp along with the 280hp of a 993. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Actually, spending $35K for a mint condition low mileage 993 is looking more and more attractive these days compared to building my 3.2L dream 914.
