Oh Crap! What's the world coming to?

I teach the kids to the check their tires and now they do away with the air? What am I going to do with all these gauges for stocking stuffers?

It's like putting velcro on tennis shoes. Kids won't even learn how to tie 'em anymore. At this rate they'll be making cars that don't use gas.

I'm starting to sound like JP. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif)

I've been saying they should do that for years. Everyone always thought it was dumb when I said it. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/dry.gif)
I invented Multi-Grain Cheerios when I was 8. I even wrote General Mills a letter telling them of my grand idea. Big mistake. 2 years later, what's on the shelves.?!?!?!?!!!!!!! That type of thing has been around for a long time for industrial
(i.e. slow) vehicles. My dad used to work at IATCO, which makes
rubber segmented tires that you just bolt on the wheel. A guy
with one ratchet can replace a damaged segment. No air.

racing is how most things are proven.if they are serious about its development you will see it on a track car somewhere. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif)

Wouldn't they flex under acceleration and breaking? Seems like control when cornering while breaking would suffer.

And yes, they do still make tennis shoes with velcro for the software and engineering geeks that like them. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wacko.gif)
