I've been told that the 1.7 and 2.0 dizzies are identical, except for the vacuum canister, and that I can use the 1.7 in my D-jet 2.0 if I swap the canisters. Is this correct?

The advance curves are slightly different, but it is quite useable. Even with the 1.7 vacuum canister, it's quite useable.
