Is there a difference between the driver and passenger side outer door handles?
I need to replace my passenger side, but I just found a driver side for sale cheap. Are they interchangeable? If the only difference has to do with the lock tumbler, then I don't care because neither of my lock tumblers work anyway. Just want to be able to open the door. |

They are completely interchangeable, but the shape of the flapper is slightly different. The one from the "proper" side will follow the curve of the door better. You have to look closely to see, though.

What Dave said. You can use either actually. Also, if you can, it is relatively easy to swap the flappers out.

I think the top is slightly longer than the bottom.

Look for the 'L' or the 'R' on the back side.
