Since I seem to be missing one of the holes for the fuel lines after I had the firewall repaired I'm hoping that someone's got their car jacked up and can measure the
distance (green line) between the fuel line holes and also if theres a height difference I'd love to have that aswell.

Tangerine fuel lines are laying ready to go into the car. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Thanks in advance.

I'm kind of eyeballing it because lines, grommets and stuff are in the way, but it looks like 30mm or 1-1/4"

I will measure my 71 when the rain stop. That might be tomorrow.
But the middle hole with tube (clutch tube) should be on the left side and that clutch tube on the picture in the middle should be the location of the other fuel hole.
That is how my 75 1.8 and 71 1.7 shows.

for your information.

Oh, crapadoodledoo.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I guess I'll just have to try to wing it then, probably need to move the hole for the plastic clip that holds both ends of the lines to the firewall leftwards aswell....

Dug around in my photo archive from before the chassis went to the body shop and of course this is how it should be. Sooooo fucking tired of "professionals" that dont seem to have any pride in their work...

My measurement is really close. 30mm (+/- 1mm)

I'm just saying I can't be 100% because the lines are in the way to take an exact measurement, but I'd say I'm for sure within +/- 1mm.
I did use calipers.

My car is on the lift getting a /6 so I can see it easy.

probably not that critical. Just so the grommets all seat well, you should be good with a WAG or SWAG.

Virgin NOS -

All 3 holes are 30mm apart (note the angle on the upper left hole)

2 right side are 20mm above the bottom

1 upper left is 33mm above the bottom
