I have a welder coming out later to weld a panel into the floor of the rear trunk and can't get it open. The lock turns and goes in and out but it wont unlatch. Any way other than cutting to get it open????????????
Thanks (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/pray.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/pray.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/pray.gif) |

Open the engine compartment. Pop out one of the plastic inserts for the targa top latches. Then stick a long extension down the hole wth a 10MM socket and a wobble on the end. Unscrew the catch from the rear wall of the trunk.
You can also unbolt the hinge to make some room to work. |
