Interested in hearing opinions about the Porsche 914 cut out or manufacturing joke in the latest issue of Automoble Mag. that came in Saturday's mail.

Not sure if it should be viewed positively, any attention is a good thing or is there a jab in there making fun of our old entry level 914.

Car does look good though.....

Well, the photo is of an orange 914 6 and looks like the paper doll cut outs. You could cut along the dotted lines and fold together, inserting tabs, and create a three dimensional paper car.

The joke is at Porsche moving to a low cost manufacturing process (like the paper model) folding together. They joke about seams spreading if you sit on the fenders.....

Thought many on this forum would have seen this, about 10 pages in....

I saw it. Thought it was kind of funny. The new low-cost entry level Porsche model #999.

So did you cut out your teener-doll and try to make it?
