I got a chance to visit the Porsche museum last week. There was a reasonable amount of 914 stuff there. Including the silver 914-8 plus a car in their resto-shop.

Anyway, in the gift store was this...

More pictures to come; lots to catch up on since my trip.

I was hoping to see the 1-2-3 GTs at Amelia. But that's okay. We got the big 8 instead. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Enjoy! Always wanted to go there!

this little diorama was built by a german specialist - just 10 units at all
he offered one on eBay, about two years ago ... for EUR 914.00

I don't know why, but it didn't sell (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I'd love to have one (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) but it's far beyond my budget ...

I think it was selling for around 740 euros. Still more than I had on me at the time. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Very cool !
I didn't see that it was a headlight cover until you pointed it out.
That makes it so much more artistic and appealing.
And Blutorange too !

Ironically, wasn't the orange one in the USA this week...?

Anyone who wants to build a display let me know because I must have at least a dozen headlight covers in my stash in many colors. I'll charge shipping and a small handeling charge. AL
