The jan/feb 2005 Vintage Motorsport magazine has a great 7 page w/pics article on the 914-6 GT factory effort. If you get a chance take a look.

I have that issue and look it over daily. Also have the Max Moritz GT issue of (??) Excellence I think from the same month. What a coinsidence, seems to be a renewed interest in those old Porsche GT cars.

Have not seen the article, but has anyone else noticed that the "shrouds" for the headlights have been removed?

weight saving ?
easier maintenance ? something less to break / get in the way ? make the car meaner looking & scarier for the competition ? stir interest in the car 30 years later ? forgetfulnes ? (sp?) |
