Removing my door panels to send to DR Evil. I also want the bottom of the driver side door pocket and the bottom of the passenger side inside door handle done.

The bottom of the passenger side handle is plastic on my car, I thought they were all made of that fiber/cardboard stuff. Did the later model cars use plastic for this part? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/confused24.gif)

It has the part number 914.555.138.10. I did a search and I can't anyone that carrys this part. I do have another handle bottom from another 70 and it is made out of the fiber/cardboard stuff. I never seen a plastic one before or if I did I didn't notice it. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smoke.gif)

Yes, the later cars were plastic (I don't recall the year right now).

It must have been a mid year 1974 switch. My early 1974 (Aug 73 actually) has the fiberboard peice, the March 74 car has a plastic piece.

Garold can you cast rubber (even silicone?) and have you considered making:

The door window post caps?
Various rubber boots and grommets like the 90 degree Vacuum hose angle and the F fitting at the Air plenum?
