Which wires attach to the backpad light? The bundle coming out of the center trunk has 6 wires in sets of 2. One set has 2 browns and a black with red stripe. The other has a green, a brown with white stripe and a brown.

Red/black is power to the light, brown is ground for the light, brown/white is grounded only when one or both doors are open.

Double-check the green wire for a black or a red stripe. It might have to do with the oil temp sender.

The harness with the green wire probably goes to the rear window defroster.
