After purchasing Sandy's 73 2.0 from Rick, I started the hunt for a numbers matching, color correct, solid 914-6

Found this past week, 1970 Adriatic Blue, fits with the Ravenna.

Does anyone know of a Lilac 914 thats available?

Thanks,

Dennis

Very cool cars. I'm jealous. Same color as mine (Adriatic Blue). Maybe someday mine will look as good as yours.

Dennis, That looks fantastic! How was the trip out and back to pick it up? Did you fly/drive or take a trailer? Anxious to see more pics!

Real Score! Guy's this is a real solid car. Dennins had to have a 6 after purchasing and driving Sandy's car. He has been hunting ever since. WTG! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

John,

I did the midnight flight so I could be there for the inspection, and put eyes to the underside.

Drove 15.5 hour from NJ to home, the car performed very well, zero problems.

I've always LOVED the Adriatic, & much prefer the Mahle 5-lug Gasburners on the 914-6's - over the Fuchs - since the seem to fit the 914 styling best IMHO!

They were specifically designed for the 914-6, hen later some taildragers got them as an option.

Great looking 914s! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif)

Cheers! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
