I'm installing a set of dual webers and I noticed that the inlet fuel line will connect towards the rear on one of the carbs and towards the front on the other carb. I'm sure it'll work fine like this but I'm a little OCD about this.

Can the hose barb fitting shown below be reversed to the other side as shown by the yellow arrow? Or is this not advisable? I don't want to have to buy a rebuild kit to get another gasket to enable me to do this.

You got lucky. The castings I have seen have ports on both sides, but only one is drilled & tapped.

You can drill & tap the other side, but its a delicate op for DIY with handtools.

The dellortos have a banjo type of fitting that you can flip over to point either way.
