Any ideas on how to get a uniform black surface, short of repaint?
Many 914's now seem to have a streak/s from side to side at about the front edge of the targa bar either lighter or darker than the rest of the top. Thanks |

Mine looked like hell. PO's tried to wax it I think. I got lucky and used some paint reducer to clean it. It stripped all the old stuff off and left me with a nice uniform flat black finish.
I tried it on my spare too and it cleaned up real good as well. It's worth a try and won't hurt it as long as you wipe it off right away. Don't let it sit on it or it might eat at the fiberglass. |
