I've striped down my 914 to sand and respray from red to white. Engine out everything but suspension. Would be nice to degrease and pressure wash everything before I start the prep process. But I always have dry washed it and kept it dry, is there a consensus on the matter? Just seems kinda wrong to soak the car down inside and out, but would make my prep job go by faster.

No trans, pulled with the engine, scraping and scrubbing by hand only.

Just off 147th and canyon. We're almost neighbors.
