This was just posted on the 914 yahoo groups board (Dennis Deeds old group).

No affiliation, I only know Bill from his messages in there. He was a bit of a 'tinkerer', but worked hard to keep the car in good shape.
Sounds like a pretty good deal...

Well the day has finally come. At 74 I am too old to fiddle with this car so
I am putting it up for sale. Info and pictures can be seen here.

http://www.bpirkle.com/porsche/porsche.htm

Located 30 miles East of Seattle.

My girl friend bought it new and I am the 2nd owner.

Priced to sell at $3000.

Call me at 253 839 4304 after 12:00 PST.

Email me at bpirkle@zipcon.net

nice ride for nice price.
am interested.
I've been a member for a while, but without a 914.
would like to change that!

will PM now, but was hoping to get feedback from rest of forum guys. advice and opinions basically. I know its not allowed anymore if you're not intending to purchase, so if I could request to PM me I sure would appreciate the education (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

awesome (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
was really hoping to get in on this one.
got zero feedback from seller and members.
suppose it was aggressively priced to move and got heaps of attention.
will wait a bit longer to get a 914!

I've been on this site for 7 years now and I still don't own one, lol. I almost pulled the trigger this year and really wanted one before October when I turn 40, but the CFO of the household put an end to it, lol. So I continue to live through the highs and lows of the dedicated enthusiasts of this forum.

If you are serious and have cash in hand, you'll find one soon enough. Good luck!

I'm serious to buy, but don't have serious cash in hand, especially USD.
I do hope I don't have to wait 7 years!
good luck to you too
