working on my first 914 ! ![]() ![]() ![]() Group: Members Posts: 653 Joined: 13-April 16 From: Holland, the Netherlands Member No.: 19,896 Region Association: Europe ![]() |
Hi, on one of the bigger VW meetings in Holland (Budel) where all aircooled is welcome, 3 x 914 showed up today between 1000 other aircooled cars.
Two guys from Germany and one Dutch guy (the red 914). Since I am looking for info and parts for my own first 914, I located all the drivers on the event and talked with them. Interesting was that all 3 had their 914's already for many, many years. they had no spare parts to share with me, but I got some contacts and numbers from them, so for me a succes. Not a lot of 914's on events here, but nice to see some ! PS the orange German 914 had flares only in the back, the black one was tricked out with some LE features (black targatrim, console, no vinyl), both ran carbs. Dutch guys has the original 2L engine with injection, engine was never pulled he claimed. ![]() ![]() |
