Right now I'm running 50 in the 2.7 but I was thinking that since it's Winter, I might need to run a lighter oil. Phoenix in the Winter is mid 60s - mid 70s as a high and 50s - mid 40s as a low..

Should I run a 40 or 30 weight until Spring?

Justin ,IMO any good 20/50w with full zinc protection will be fine .....some may have different suggestions (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif)

I don't run as heavy a weight as many here, but I'm a bit north of you.
I use Delo 400 15w40.

I'll stick with what Dad was running then.

Kendall GT with Liquid Titanium has the correct amount of Zinc. It's what I run in the /6.

You said 50. If it's 20/50 you're good (the 20 part matters, that's the lighter you are thinking of).
Sticking with what dad ran is wise. He knew shit. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
