Here's my fleabay fuel sender gasket after two weeks (550 replica with a frankenstein mix of VW & 914 & VDO parts), I need an actual gasket:

Here is the sender, it's VDO and I think follows the VW 5-bolt pattern:

I just ordered a 914 gasket from 914rubber, which looks the same, but I am not sure about the bolt pattern--is the bolt pattern the same? I just need a quality part that won't corrode when fuel touches it.

Ours is neoprene, so it should hold up better.

That's a VW Bug sender as you most likely have a VW Bug fuel Tank in your Spyder. I think they were originally a cork gasket??

Yup, get a Bug gasket. The 914 sender is a tall cylinder.

OK, brilliant move from 914rubber, they just shipped me the VDO/Beetle gasket even though I ordered the wrong 914 one. Should be smooth sailing from here.
