I remember seeing it run as a red open-topped car at the Historics for years. And I knew the owner--Chuck Forge was a 914 guy as well. A really nice guy!
I had no idea that was the first Porsche to race at Le Mans! --DD |

They packed them up and sent them to America in November 1951. Don't believe me ask the Gmund coupe expert Phil Carney.  |
