Like title says, does anyone know what the pressure setpoint is for the Bosch 280 160 001 new out of the box? Or, will it depend on the pressure it sees from the pump once it's all hooked up?
Thanks, Aaron |

You need to install it and measure the pressure when the car is running.

You need to install it and measure the pressure when the car is running. I know. I was just trying to figure out if anybody knows if it's anywhere close to the stock 29psi right out of the box. Or, will it vary depending on the pressure it sees from the pump? Thanks, Aaron |

Pressure should be correct right out of the box. The real question will be what is the pressure in the fuel loop of your car. I recommend you replace all the hoses involved and the tank filter screen. Then you will have a good starting point.

Pressure should be correct right out of the box. Yup. I seem to recall when I replaced one about two years ago I didn't have to adjust it much, if at all, to get it where it needed to be. Still need to check, but I would be surprised if it's not pretty close out of the box. |
