I've only had 5 914s. Ironically the best shifting one was a tail shifter. It happened to be in better shape because of low mileage. Here I am again with a sideshift that's irritating the hell out of me. It's the classic, grinds trying to go into first. It's worn... It needs sliders and synchros.
In this phase of my life, I'm not sure I want to go through the rebuild process. So... Have a provable quality tranny to sell me? Want to trade cores? Should I buy Evil's video and do it myself? I want to get the core right first, then I'll move to a Rennshift and CFR's linkage. |
