Okay, Okay, its not about cars, but I am a strung out junkie on the amazing race, and I hate TV, Except for racing.

So if you saw the show, Boston Rob and Amber got on a standby flight and The gate was closed and the walkway pulled back to the gate, and they call the pilot and asked if another couple can get on, which they did, pull the jetway back to the plane and let them on. Give me a F---ing break. like that would ever happen. With my luck They would book me on a 11:40 PM flight instead of AM, all taxis I took would need gas, have a flat tire, the range rover would roll over and the camera man would get crushed and sue me when I won the Million, SO I would still lose. WTF. Anyway, thought I would vent, I've been watching that show for weeks hoping my boy would win. Well at least he still gets that fine POA, Amber.

I do apologize, I did'nt know that it wasn't televised at the same time there as it was here. I gues that makes sense, It would be 6:00Pm when it aired. Please accept my indescretion.

I wouldn't say they got screwed, it's a game right? The couple that one did a great job. They came from last place to take it all. They did get lucky with the cab driver knowing spanish.

Honestly I didn't care who one, I like to know who is the one that plans the race route? Now that would be a pretty cool job.

I am only kidding, Urchenna and James? started with no money and kicked ass on the last leg, When she cut all of her hair off, I knew they would do well, that was there change of luck. They won that leg and did well from there on out.

I used to think Amber was hot, but when she fell for Boston Rob, that ruined it for me (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/barf.gif)

Rob and Amber weren't brought on the show to win, but to help ratings...I seriously doubt they were allowed to win...especially with the wedding show right around the corner. You bet your sweet ass they had a nice paycheck from the race, lots of folks watched to see them, or to hate them.

I was amazed at how the couple that won handled the taxi-driver. With $1m only steps away they spend time begging for money to settle the taxi bill they couldn't cover. I guess karma comes back sometimes eh. I think the Amazing Race is the fastest hour or two on TV, non-stop action!

I never watched that show until this year, and I think it is pretty cool. I love to travel around the world and I would do that show and have a blast even without the payoff. Ever leave one train station and run through Milan at 4:00 AM to catch a train at another train station with all of your luggage in a pack on your back? That is fun.

The level of intigerity that the couple who won played with was from what I saw, pretty much above and beyond what 99% of what most people would do... I was glad to see them win - They kept their composer and
unlike some of the other teams, there attitude was humble...
It was nice to see folks who are willing to take the time to do the right thing, and still come out on top -
