so here it is... I am planning on putting a 1.7l into a guys car for him. he has a 2.0l that blew up and offered to by my 1.7 out of my car. what all do i need to give him for the swap to be done.?..
I know the heat exchangers need to be kept on the 1.7l. does the muffler from the 2.0l work? he is running carbs on his 2.0l and wants trhem installed on the 1.7l he doesnt want to spend more money on th car than needed, his daughter drives the 914. thanks in advance. |

Use the 2.0 Heat exchangers, 2.0 muffler and hanger. All the rest is plug and play, and no mixing 1.7 and 2.0 exhaust pieces don't fit right ( use all 2.0 stuff, or all 1.7 stuff).
