It appears that my transmission is leaking from the tac plug connection. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif) Is there a seal right there or am I looking at deeper issues. Your input would greatly be appreciated. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/pray.gif)
Thanks (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

He probally meant the speedo drive.

It has an O ring, not a big issue.

There is an o-ring on the speedo drive. If the leak is through the drive, get a new drive. If the leak is around the outside, change the o-ring at the next tranny oil change.

Be Warned! - There is a locking bolt holding it in place. The threads are a heli-coil and the thing gets tightened to three (3) Ft-lbs. More than that and you strip the helicoil. - Be Warned!
