His car business was based out of so cal back then. His son was still racing a Beck 904 last I heard. I last spoke to Chuck about a year when I almost bought his personal 904 test mule but I ultimately decided on building one based on a roller. I love the lines of a 904 GTS...second to my 914. |

ValcoOscar, will the 904 tribute car be at the Temecula fun day? Even in a build stage it would be fun to see. Maybe more so for guys like me that tinker. I saw that caffeine and octane show that went to his shop in GA. I wonder how many 904's he has out there rolling on the roads?

I can't say that I know Chuck Beck well, but I'd met both he & his son a couple of times both here in SoCal years ago, & once when I was in ATL on business & went out to Octane & Caffeine + a Peachstate Region Concours.
