Hi Friends
I found another rare colored 914. This one is a Metallic red 1970. Ive seen where it has been called Colorado Metallic Red. To me It is Dr. Pepper red. This one has a cool back story.... I am officially the 3rd. Owner. The original owner bought it new in germany while he was in the Army. He brought it home and eventually put it in storage. About 3 years ago he gave it to the man I bought it from.... I will post pics as I go....here are a couple from today.  |

Some hard to find parts like the original tool pouch and plastic battery cover were included

The car had 1 repaint... The metallic red is a really interesting color on the 914.... It is quite rare also. There are only 5 cars in the registry painted this color. This is the 362nd car built in 1970.
