I have what is supposed to be a bone stock 2.0 with a GA case...
Setting the timing has been driving me nuts, so I pull the distributor. The numbers are as follows: 0 231 174 009 039 905 205 and I vacuum tested the diaphragm advance / retard only to find there's no advance, no retard! Is anybody familiar with this distributor? is it a bus distributor? Anybody tried the 123ignition distributor? any and all advice is greatly appreciated. |

I have the 123 running on mine with the electronic trigger points. It works very well. Will be converting to controlling ignition with the Microsquirt soon because I can. they also have a programmable version of the dizzy which I would thin would be the way to go. You can set your timing by Bluetooth. |

Did you test the vacuum with the unit on or off the distributor?

Thanks to all.
I tested the vacuum canister both on and off the distributor. nada. big leak. It looks like I'm gonna go megasquirt. I'll take the D-jet and put it on the shelf... for if and when. |
