Hi,

I'm a newbie - will post pics of my car soon - but have a question. My car is missing the 'spring' that causes the engine compartment lid to pop and stay up. I have to pull the nob and then lift the lid and prop it. Does anyone have a part number for this so I can track one down?

Many thanks

Chris

There are two small torsion bars in the lid that lift it. You probable need the plastic brackets the hold the bars in place.

Here's the link to the entire parts catalog in downloadable pdf.

Porsche does a surprising job of keeping parts available.
