Every once in a while, the fuel pump does not hum when I turn the ignition. So, I get out, open the engine lid and bang on the metal box on the relay board with my bottle opener attached to my keys. This has fixed the problem every time. Sometimes, more banging is required. relay could be going out (buy a new one or replace with a known good one....)
connections could be getting dirty (clean them), Pin 13 goes to the fuel pump. click on the link here: relay board this will tell you what is what...... |

think about it for a minute.,......why on earth would that affect the fuel pump??? do any of the traces go there?? nope...the "governor" is the is your regulator, it controls how much current the alternator produces to charge the battery (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif) |

Or the mayor.
Take the rear relay, and swap it with the center relay. That help? If it did, you have a bad relay. If it didn't, you either have two somewhat bad relays, or you have a continuity problem, likely at the box. M |
