What do #78, and 79 do? It is the rubber washer and the nut that go on the return tube. Do They go on the inside of the fender, or do you put them on afer the tank is in place to sandwitch the fender against the tank?

beware #11 - deceptively small, but evil. It wants to strip the threads on the tank, resulting in your having to yank the eff'n thing out to have it tapped and cleaned out less any metal debris remains. The engine assumes the oil in the tank is clean and ready to go.

Does anybody know what the part number is for #9, the "O" ring seal for the oil filter console? I thought it was 999-701-100-50, but that isn't pulling anything up. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif)

Cool, thanks Jeff, I thought maybe I had it written down wrong. It's on a list of 914-6 parts written in pencil like 6 years ago. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif) I'll just order it from your link! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/boldblue.gif) |
