I'm interested and want to be first in line, but I have a few questions.

Why are these always sold with red keys which I thought were valet keys, not designed to open the rear trunk? Would you need to cut a black key for it to work in a rear trunk latch operation? It confounds me.

Would these also work as ignition keys?

Not sure why these come with the red key. The tag says for all locks BUT these will only work for the doors and rear trunk lock. Yes you can cut a black key from these. Ignition lock uses the same wafers BUT the lock is completely different.
