So I bought my MIG Yesterday.
Ready to start fixing my door sill. What do I have to do to protect my Mallory 6A ignition?

disconnect battery leads. Do I need to remove the CD box?
Lost my paperwork for the unit. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/headbang.gif)

couldn't hurt.

i would at least disconnect all but the negative.
actually, i'd disconnect that too.

(my opinions on what you should *really* do with an MSD-6 are already on record, so i won't go there again...)
