So I need some advice (for the newbie). I finally got around to posting pictures of my car, that I've had since December 04, on the nailed link above. Attached is a rear view and what I believe is a monza exhaust. Is there a valance that is available and will accomodate the dual exhaust pipes?
Thanks T Attached image(s) ![]() |

No there isn't one with two notches. Factory valances all have single notches. So you could use one of those, and just fiberglass the notch away. Or, you could do what I am going to do: get rid of my obnoxiously loud monza and go OEM or triad.

Thanks everyone. Seems like a new exhaust system is in order or no valance but that looks odd to me.

You could do something like this.
I cut the dual tips off and put on a pair of stainless tips and installed a (no notch) valance. Attached image(s) ![]() |

Here's a picture of one I modified for an ANSA I had on the '72 1.7 circa '79. The car is long gone but I kept the valance.
I bent steel brake line to fit the contours of the openings I cut and brazed them onto the valance. Measuring for the openings took longer than the fitting and welding. Still only spent 2-3 hours on the whole project. Good luck with yours! Attached image(s) ![]() |
