yup, there are some things that PPs prices blow on... compare tie-rod ends and with them and paragon...
you can buy 2 CHT kits from CBperformance for 1 at pelican...

I say this though... I never worry about getting my pelican order... their service has always been x-cellent... they just need to comparison shop to be the tops..

I suspect they have the same issue with RD as many here......

The RD pieces are nice though.

have you tried this place? I think it was bought by AA. I don't know anything else about them and have never ordered from them, but I was looking at their prices the other day and wondered if they were still current.

Battery tray?
Oh, yeah ......the sacrifical anode in the engine bay.
They last slightly longer than the zinc on the rudder of a boat.
When your first one disappeared, ya shoulda got a clue.
Leave them to the CWs is my unsolicited advice. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

I have a tray and support that came out of my car. They were dipped so they are bare metal but coated with cold zinc so no rust.

Make me an offer and I will UPS them right out.

I bought the support and made my own tray out of an old computer case for this very reason. It works fine - in some respects a little better since it has a better grip on the optima.

Another point. Look at smaller batteries, Odyssey, Mazda Miata battery, they weigh considerable less and do the same as the heavier Optimas.
