I have there catalogs dating back to the early 80’s. Always a good read and the tech tips were very helpful.

Old catalogues have cross references that have seemed to have disappeared or have been deleted. PET vs the old paper catalogues is a good example. If part is NLA it has been deleted.

as everyone probably knows we used to mass mail our 914 924 911 and 944 catalogs to registered owners via the rl polk compiled vehicle registration compilations. Was a very effective tool putting a catalog directly into the hands of those who actually owned and registered their car. Those lists are now part of the privacy act and cannot be acquired. Hence we can not afford to print 30 thousand catalogs with no where to go. SO we retain the old catalog, print 100 at a time at a very costly price, and fondly remember the past
