This car shows up on ebay every once in awhile.
Seems like a heck of a car for the price. I'd ditch the red GT-RS side stripes, the rear spoiler and put a different steering wheel inside. The rest is pretty good stuff. Just my thoughts obviously. What's wrong with this car such that it won't sell? https://www.ebay.com/itm/1976-Porsche-914-6...mwAAOSw19Jd6sXv |

Nice car, but a lot of money for a 2.7. Nobody in California will touch it, due to smog requirement. Check out BAT, 3.2’s sell in this price range with 915 gear boxes.

Simple: he's asking too damn much.
If he drops it 50% it'll get some bidders, maybe past 30k. But 50k? Nope. |

The 2.7 is known as the cheap way to put a 6 in a 914. It's also one of the least desirable motors at this point. The 76 requires smog here in 914 heaven so that eliminates 50% of the market.
Something doesn't look right about the flares either. Too curvy right at the wheel edges. Fiberglass? Nobody wants to pay $50k for a 76 with a 2.7 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bootyshake.gif) Maybe $30 if the right buyer comes along. But this is a dealer selling/flipping and that throws off more buyers. |

6 useless pictures. 0 bids. Bringing it up here it would be almost $60k after the state was finished. Post transport. So you add that in too. Expensive conversion.
