Pondering adding NACA ducting to rear deck lid for additional cooling of a radiator.
Already figured out the exhausting of said cooling air. Just don't know it the air off the targa roof would reach ducts or flow over. |

NACA ducts work best with laminar attached airflow, like on a front hood for example. The rear decklid area on a 914 has turbulent flow due to the dropoff after the roof, so I wouldn't think it's the best place for a NACA unfortunately.

Always thought NACA or something similar in the sides/wings of targa bar, would help direct airflow to the engine.
