Does anyone have experience lubricating the solenoid on a SR17x starter?
My starter is staying engaged for a few seconds after releasing the key on start.
If it doesn't disengage after a couple of seconds, a blip on the throttle will do it,
or sometimes, turning the car off and restarting works.
Is it even possible to disassemble and lube the solenoid piston on a SR17x?

Thanks,
Alan B

I don't think you want to lube the electrical solenoid itself. Maybe try to clean/lightly lube the gear shaft itself.
