I figure with this Virus crap keeping me home (not working), I could save some shipping $ and take a road trip with the Flywheel, Crank, Pistons, etc... for my 2.0 build and have them balanced.

Anyone know of a good shop? Tennessee, North Alabama, Southern Kentucky, North Georgia?

Do they need to be VW experts, or not, or just some history and knowledge of VW?

Quick google search turns up Shacklett in Nashville...they may be able to do it or give you a lead.
You'll want to have the fan, crank, flywheel & Pressure Plate all together to have it done well.
Also check with Len Hoffman to see who he recommends--will make a nice road trip--enjoy!

Try these guys or maybe they can send you to whoever they use.
Always wanted to visit their shop but never enough time while I'm in TN.
