Speaking of safety (am in process of a variant 3rd brake light), I saw an ad for an "Element Fire Extinguisher" on page 7 of the current PCA Pano magazine (photo below). Seems like a perfect solution for a fire-prone 914s that aren't race tracked. Anyone have any experience or input? A bit expensive ($80) but not compared to fixing a burnt car or having to carry a 3-5lb extinguisher.
If any interest I could try to get PP to offer a GB.

There's a bit of a discussion on these in other threads and you'll find varying opinions. Personally, I have one of these in my door pocket - it's gotta be better than nothing, unobtrusive and easily grabbed.
