Ready enough for a local cruise up and down the coast. I only have one seat in it right now but now that I have the parts here to put it together, I might get a chance to do that this week.

Morro Bay is nice. Pismo sucks on a hot weekend. You end up being with all the yokels you're trying to get away from. I prefer south bay beaches like Hermosa, Santa Monica, Huntington and Newport. Torrance cliffs are okay as well.

Maybe I need to start a thread for the bay area guys. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

Wife wants to go to San Francisco anyway.

Allan: Come and stay here. Take Party Central to the beach. You are welcome. If you want to stay at my house plan on camping out, as I have no extra beds in the house. But there is a lot of space and the motor home.

Hey Joe,

Already got the bed space. I'm just looking to get together and go hang out where it's cooler and (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/driving.gif) then (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/beer3.gif) ...

Well, if you end up at Hermosa/Redondo/Manhattan/Torrance beach area, let me know, I would have no excuse not to meet up.

What I would ideally like to do is head down the 110, go through San Pedro and take the scenic route around the P.V. peninsula and end up in Hermosa. From there (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/confused24.gif) .

Probably have to get my wife to come and fetch my drunken ass....

Is this still going to happen?

There's a good place in South Redondo Beach to meet up at. There are car shows there every friday at 5 during the summer I believe. motly hot rods, etc. Anyway, the palce hsa a big enough parking lot that 914 parking would be no problem. There's a resturaunt there, Ruby's diner. never eatern there, so I can't vouch for it. Its right on the beach.

Otherwise there's the Rocky Cola Cafe in Hermosa Beach, or the ever popular pier area (parking is VERY hard on the weekends).

Ruby's

Hopefully my 914 will be running for this weekend. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/mad.gif)

Here's the latest.

I'll probably be heading down tonight teenerless. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif) I don't think it would have been a problem making it down in it because I was going to leave about 5 am tomorrow. Air temp about 80 degrees. The problem I have is that on Sunday it will be about 105. 105 degrees + 6% grade + 30 miles + air cooled motor with no CHT = AAA call.

I'll be playing golf in the morning but will probably head to the beach in the afternoon if anybody wants to meet up.
