Mate here has a US imported car with broken screen,as some will know parts for these cars are like rocking horse s#it here let alone a windscreen.
I believe Sigla and Securit (?) aren't made anymore,Pilkington don't sell here anymore and the new screen in my car is one made in a plant that closed down in Australia many years ago. Options are ; Pilkington is ex UK for HUGE money plus shipping, SMC have one on special for $380 ish but brand and fit questionable, Chinese screen which I suspect is the same asSMC offering ?, Porsche dealer offerings ,anyone got a good price on the west coast recent? O'brien autoglass in Australia may have a screen but won't ship out of that country. Trying to help out so input would be really useful as he has had prices around $1500 to 2000 NZD ,TIA. |

Hi, May seem a silly question but have you asked EMD? Porsche genuine one at AASE is 534USD and Stoddards list a pilkington one at $600, SMC have the Porsche one at $592. EMD may cut you a discount being a classic
