Good driving and handling 914. Bought it a couple of years ago and have too many other cars so this one has to go. Rust is minimal, two holes on the driver's and passenger's sides underneath , but not too bad. Hell hole is decent and not rusted through, but battery tray is rusted and been converted and painted to stop further rust. Not sure of the front shocks, but rear shocks are Bilsteins. Lights work, signals, gauges all work. Speedometer reads slower that what you are actually travelling. 1.7 liter motor that does leak some oil. Change seats out for aftermarket seats, but have originals and original hood and any other bits I have removed or collected for the car.
The good: I have replaced the throttle cable, clutch cable, added through trunk fuel filler, body is straight, added new seals for targa top and seals that seal it to car, new front and back trunk seals, 13.5 inch steering wheel with proper hub (can fit a Momo to it) , rebuilt brake calipers, new rear brake pads, new front and rear brake hoses (front ones installed), Dual 44IDF carbs with Triad linkage, Triad exhaust. New shifter bushes, Rennshift shifter, new foot board under pedals, replaced door handles, recovered door cards with vinyl and added RS style door pulls. Currently registered and drives and stops well. Added good condition bumpers front and rear and fiberglass chin panel. Replaced seal on rear windscreen. The bad: Paint is about 10 footer. Paint had been applied thick and some drips can be seen at bottom and cracking is present. Rear arches have been "adjusted" to fit the 195 width tires so need finishing or replacing and paint is cracked, some bubbling under thick paint in a few areas. Tires have plenty of tread and no cracking, however, seem to be flat spotted. Passenger door handle internal plastic actuator just broke so needs replacing. High beams don't seem to come on so may need turn signal mechanism replaced. No horns. Sold Attached thumbnail(s) |

Interested, is the car drivable or needs a flatbed to take home with new owner?
