Hi, I just bought a 1970 914 and want to see if it will fit on my trailer. Would someone be so kind and measure their cars total length?

Thanks
Spencer

13’ 1”

Later years were longer due to bumper sizes.

Open or enclosed trailer?

With an open trailer, I would think wheelbase and weight distribution relative to trailer axle (tongue weight) would be the critical issues.

I have a single axle 12' trailer with the axle set further to the rear for VW aircooled. The rear of the 914 overhangs the rear of the trailer.
Likely the bigger issue you may run into is the trailer bed wide enough?
