As my ultra slow restoration pro-gres-ses, I've found a front suspension jig available from Stoddard.
Has anyone here had any experience with this jig? It seems like a good tool to ensure my "straightening" job is done correctly. https://www.stoddard.com/t52-1975.html |

Hi, I had some work done by a shop. They replaced my front trunk floor with this jig. Can't remember where I bought it. Probably was stoddard. Made things go smoothly from what I heard. Check out my build page here. I've got some photos of it in use.

If the repair is already done, I would just measure out the suspension points and make sure everything is in spec.
You can also put bolts into the threaded portions of the chassis, lay a straightedge across the bolts, measure and visually check to see if things look right in the different dimensions. The jig is really to hold things in place while you weld. |
