I was thinking about installing a set of 911 early round driving lights with the

H3 lamp. These are 55w each so I would be looking at about 10 amps total. The stock fog lights are about 6 amps Wondering if anyone has done this or if anyone knows what size wire the stock fog light circuit uses. Always appreciative Andy |

It will be plug and play if you use Hella 118 lights. Same as the Hella 115 used in 914 except they are chrome.

Will those Hella 118 lights accept LED bulbs? Will that light be a direct bolt-in replacement for the stock 914 fogs? Those look similar to the PIA (I think that was the other light) replacements that are difficult to find. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer3.gif)

Here is seller on Ebay. He has them in fog, driving and yellow fog. Reproductions made to factory specifications. He is using the H3 bulb. Should be LED replacement for H3

I do believe these are about 1/2" larger than the stock fogs (at least the lenses we have are). DO check the OD of the housing if you plan to run the stock fog light grills.

Yes... those are the style of lights I am installing. I always thought the stock fog lights were pretty much useless.

If this gentleman is having them made, I wonder if he would consider making just the reflector for 914 fogs? I think I will inquire about that.' Thanks for the help Mark! |

We are actually working on the 914 reflectors now, may be late Dec but another needed part, and since we make the springs and seals and grommet just another piece of the puzzle in the works.

It's actually 3 pieces not just a simple version the 911 has. |

The actual lens & bezel are different. The back of the light will interchange with a stock 914 fog.The size of the reflector is a bit different size wise as well as the fact that it takes an H3 lamp. It still fits within the stock fog opening. Focus is going to be a bit more critical since a whole lot more light is being thrown farther down the road.

I just need to tweek on my focus.... I had forgotten how low these cars are....gettin to old for this. as a note.... the guy that does the repops is up in your neck of the woods I think |
