Just saw this on PCar Market, VIN isn't listed here... #9140430460. Looks pretty nice, anyone know the car?

The Peter Dawe built engine is a huge plus but it doesn’t sound like it’s a real six anymore.
“During the build, the original chassis was deemed to have had too extensive corrosion to be a safe platform, and a replacement chassis was sourced from another 1970 914. Some of the original 914-6 body panels were moved over to the new chassis along with genuine steel fender flares and a lightweight fiberglass hood, trunk lid, and removable targa top” |

Thanks Mark, went back to read the entire description and as a racer, no sweat. But you're right, can't call it a genuine 6 anymore. If they swapped the vin that's NFG.

Regardless of pedigree that is a well thought out and cleanly executed track piece. The Dawes engine sounds great and the 7500 rpm redline would indicates it is built with right goodies as one would expect from Pete.
