I am gathering information on my car which is an American import into the UK and would like to know what the shipping routes would have been from Germany to the US in 1970.
I would like to plot this on the map, Osnabrueck - Stuttgart - USA - UK.

Do anyone have this information.

I am guessing by train from Osnabrueck to Bremerhaven . Thinking the US Port of Entry was in Jacksonville, Florida at the time.

The data I can purchase for the 914's to write up my pseudo CoA type of Report includes the port of entry in most cases. I have a list of 15 to 20 such ports, but not sure of which were active for a particular year.

I can tell you for a fact that Hillsboro, Oregon was at least one west coast entry point. I remember driving by fields of Porsche's. My 912E came into Hillsboro, moved to Massachusetts for 2 years, then back to Seattle, now back in Hillsboro. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
